I'll give three stars because the menu is very limited. It's a deli soooo you can get sandwiches and that's about it. As a healthy person, I try not to eat a ton of carbs. Poboy and muffuletta bread are not the healthiest! I wish the had another option. My pasta salad was good, but how do you screw than up? The stuffed pepper was interesting. It was kinda hard to eat. The people I were with had the godfather sandwich (good) and spaghetti and meatballs which was the daily special. The meatballs were huge and enjoyable supposedly. She said the salad dressing had a strong vinegar taste. It's cramped in there soooo I wouldn't go during a super busy time. They offer Togo foods but they are rather expensive. I thought about getting one but the lasagna which feeds three was 30 bucks!! The staff was friendly and they have a patio which is a plus. I'll go back and try the muffuletta one of these days.

Same great food at a newer, larger location! The new location is closer to my office so I'm pretty excited. Today for lunch my mom and I shared the spaghetti & meatballs lunch special and The Marie po-boy. Wow! Their red gravy is wonderful and that sandwich was just amazing. They use marinated onions on their sandwiches which just adds that little something extra. Service is quick and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Giving 4 stars based on reputation and the anticipation of not having to change it when I visit for second time. I don't think they gave me the right sandwich. I don't think they gave my friend the right sandwich either. I ordered something with 4 meats on it and I only counted 3. It's the little things that make me happy, Ant-ny. I'll come back but I hope it's better.

I'm very happy that I can get Anthony's Italian Deli much closer to where I live. Based on my first visit, things seem pretty much identical to the old location except that there is more seating available.

Excellent meatball poboy. A little pricy, but worth it when you want a good sandwich

We had the New Orleans style muffuletta and a Marie's. The quality of both was excellent, service was quick and the only thing better than the food, the employees! Very friendly and took time to explain anything on the menu. Bonus: nice items to go!

Amazing muffeletta! Better than Central Grocery in New Orleans. I called from the road and they had my order waiting even though I arrived at 6pm and they close Saturday at 5:30. What a find - thank you Anthonys Deli!

Great sandwiches. Improved customer service. Cramped at lunch time; I suggest ordering ahead for pickup (check your sandwich though, they're good at goofing up orders and not going out of their way to make it right.)

Just got in my car after finally stopping at Anthony's for lunch. I have to review before I can do anything else. I walked in during lunch hour, and the place was packed (knew it would be). Girl at the counter could probably tell I was a noob, so she immediately offered me a menu. Didn't try to rush me at all, despite being super busy. I settled on the small muffuletta (large feeds two), which comes on poboy bread. Holy cow! I didn't want that sandwich to end. You must come to lunch at Anthony's.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
